Notice on Lighter Shipments

Important Notice on Lighter Shipments

At Cigar Accessories Warehouse, we want our customers to be fully informed about special shipping regulations that may affect lighter orders.

Customs & Regulations

  • Some countries classify lighters as containing flammable liquids, even though we always empty the fuel before shipping.
  • Lighter shipments may require additional customs inspection and can sometimes remain at the customs clearance stage longer than regular parcels.
  • In some cases, customs authorities may reject or return lighter shipments due to local regulations.

What Happens If a Shipment Is Delayed or Rejected by Customs?

If your lighter shipment is:

  • held at the customs clearance stage for more than 14 consecutive days, or
  • officially rejected or returned by customs,

we will offer you the following options:

  • Reshipment: We can resend your order using an alternative shipping method or carrier where available. No additional reshipment fee will be charged.
  • Full Refund: If you prefer not to wait for a replacement shipment, you may request a cancellation and receive a full refund.

If the shipment is still undergoing customs clearance and has been held for less than 14 days, we will continue to monitor the shipment and allow customs processing to proceed before arranging a reshipment or refund.

If a rejected package is returned to us and we have not received a cancellation or refund request from the buyer, we will reship the order once the return is confirmed.

Delivery Address Requirements

  • Some postal carriers and customs agencies do not deliver to P.O. Boxes.
  • To avoid delays or returns, we strongly recommend providing a valid street/residential address for all lighter orders.

Warehouse Locations

  • Orders may be shipped from either our Asia or North America warehouses, depending on product availability.

⚠️ Important Reminder: International shipping and customs regulations vary by country. Customs processing times are outside our direct control, and temporary delays during customs clearance do not necessarily mean that a shipment has been rejected. Please check your local import regulations if you are uncertain.
